It breaks our hearts to write this, but due to unforeseen rental restrictions, we’re looking for a loving new home for our cherished cat, Snowy. Snowy is a 4-year-old Snow Bengal - playful and affectionate. Like most Bengals, she's quite energetic and usually needs around 30 minutes of playtime in the evening. Other than that, she sleeps through the night and most of the day. Snowy is in good health. She's fully vaccinated (including rabies) and has a valid certificate, as we were preparing to move with her to Australia. She's microchipped and has had annual vet checkups. Last year, we ran some tests just to make sure everything was fine - and they came back all clear. She does have a sensitive stomach, which is pretty common in Bengals, so we feed her dry food that’s made for sensitive cats. Aside from that, she eats a mix of wet and dry food - no special diet. At our home, Snowy was our only pet. However, the family we adopted her from had multiple cats and a dog, and they all coexisted quite well. I’d still say it may take her a little while to adjust to other pets. With humans, though, she’s amazing. She has a very dog-like personality - she always runs to the door when someone comes in, and she loves to follow people around and be involved in whatever’s going on. She’s incredibly curious and sociable. The reason we’re rehoming her is because we were misled by property agents who assured us that keeping pets wouldn’t be a problem in our new home. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true, and we’ve been left with no choice but to look for a new home for her. For the past couple of weeks, Snowy has been living with our friends while we tried to sort things out. She adapted to their home within a day and immediately started interacting with everyone in the house. As long as she’s around people, she’s happy. We love her very much, and this is an incredibly emotional decision. We're looking for a home that will appreciate her and give her the attention and care she deserves.
