Our puppies are raised in the heart of our home, where they receive daily handling, enrichment, socialisation and exposure to household sights and sounds, helping them develop into confident family companions. We also begin early toilet training and introduce recall to a whistle, providing valuable foundations that can be continued in their new homes. We carry out a temperament assessment of each puppy and carefully match puppies to the most suitable homes based on their individual personalities, confidence levels and characteristics. This helps ensure the best possible fit for both puppy and family, setting everyone up for a successful lifelong relationship. Carrier – The dog carries one copy of the gene mutation but is completely healthy and will never develop the condition. Affected – The dog has two copies of the gene mutation and may develop the condition. As our dam is STGD Carrier and our sire is STGD Clear, none of the puppies can be affected by STGD. Puppies from this mating may be either Clear or Carrier, but none will develop the condition. As both parents have been tested clear for the remaining conditions listed above, none of the puppies can be affected by CNM, HNPK, SD2, EIC or MCD. Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) The Kennel Club Breed Average COI for Labrador Retrievers is 6.5%. This litter has a COI of 3.0%, which is well below the breed average. Before getting in touch, please note: we will ask questions about your lifestyle and your plans for one of our pups before a deposit is accepted. Part of our agreement requires you to provide regular updates on your puppy. If for any reason your pup isn’t a good fit, they must be returned to us and cannot be rehomed elsewhere. About the parents: The father is the lighter-colored dog, and the mother is the darker one. Esme and Cash have produced an exceptional litter. Both are excellent examples of the breed—healthy, intelligent, and well-mannered. Cash works in security and has experience in various settings, handling everything with skill and confidence. He gets along well with children, livestock, and is a very stable, intelligent dog. Esme, the mother, is not currently working but is strong, intelligent, confident, and protective of her family. She is great with children, other animals, and will be an excellent family protection dog once her pups are weaned. These pups come from outstanding, traditional German Shepherd lines—if you’re looking for a classic, well-balanced German Shepherd, these puppies are ideal.
