Dogs for adoption

Lovely jack russel x Patterdale terrier. We got her a few weeks ago but she's not getting on with our cat. She's somewhat potty trained and has had her first shots. We thought we had a winner with our toddler but she's a very snap-at-the-air playful and our son is now nervous around her. Loves people and kids but easy to bark at noises at night. Walks great on her lead and thoroughly loves cuddling. Especially in the sunshine.

We are homeworkers so she's used to being around people all the time, would thrive in an environment where someone can look after her and not leave her alone for too long. She is very cuddly but likes her space too. She needs a lot of exercise and ideally some training with socialisation and reactivity. She's good in a car, loves going to enclosed fields where she can chase balls until exhausted. Winter is up to date with flea/worming/vaccinations and doesn't have any health issues. She hasn't been spayed yet. She is very good on walks - no excessive pulling, likes to explore and responds to corrections well, she has a high prey drive so will pull when she sees a squirrel or a rabbit etc, she hasn't been trained off lead. Winter pulls more when in season so I'd advise to spay her for this and other reasons (we were planning to do this in the coming months as she's just come off her season). She has some guarding issues when it comes to new toys, once she had her fill in protecting the new object she will come around to you to play with it together. She's not shown any food guarding issues. She loves to say hello to other people and she can be jumpy about it (previous owner didn't train it out of her when she was a pup and awkwardly most people love it about her). She's very friendly with all people including children but I would say for younger kids toys might be an issue due to guarding tendencies. No trials as I don't think it's fair on her. Max is a Gentle Giant, he is a great character, intelligent and inquisitive. He is friendly towards visitors, loves to play and socialise with other dogs. He isn't frightened by fireworks or loud noises and happily visits the vets. He is very strong so ideally needs someone experienced in handling large breeds.

Ronnie is a very loving and friendly dog. He enjoys going on walks or snuggling on sofa. He does struggle with being left for a long time. He is prone to ear infections but they can be manged with regular cleaning of his ears

Her temperament is nice and relaxed.she gets suspicious of strangers and will do anything to protect her family. She’s independent confident and trained she’s socialised with other dogs but not so much with other females. She has a fun personality she enjoys long walks and runs too overall she’s calm and relaxed with kids but will have to be watched over incase she gets excited and knocks them over. She is is a little bit over 8 months

His name is reggie very friendly intelligent and loving little man, loves kids and fusses fully house trained

Awww he is a beautiful boy, handsome, fun, playful and loves cuddles and an ear rub. He likes water loves to jump in lakes although not so keen on the bath.

Sproodle (Springer crossed with Poodle) 4.5 year old male (neutered and up to date with all vaccinations and medical checks). Tsuki is a lovely dog with lots of energy, he still gets excited for walks and playtime but is also very happy to curl up for a cuddle and chill too. He’s happy to go along with the vibe of the house, e.g. if you’re relaxing he will too, if you’re up for playing then he’ll join in. He’s very well trained for toileting and being left alone, the only thing to be aware of is he pulls on his lead on his walks as he still gets excited to go out and play, this isn’t too problematic with the right lead and harness. Tsuki is great with people and other dogs, he loves being out on walks and running around open spaces. Unfortunately our circumstances have changed and we’re not able to spend as much time with him as we’d like so we’re looking for a new loving and fun home for him so he can have all the love and attention he deserves.

Loves to cuddle, loves walks, loves to sleep. Excellent with children and loves playing football with them. Excellent family pet or companion. Murphy is Border Collie X Corgi, he is more Border Collie (however, slightly smaller) and has the Corgi circle tail features.
