Description

Kobie – 3 Years Old Kobie is a 3-year-old with a sweet personality and gentle nature. Unfortunately, I need to find him a new home after recently taking him in from a previous owner. He needs a permanent home as soon as possible. Kobie gets along well with people and has a friendly, playful attitude. He would do best in a home with larger dogs, as he enjoys rough play and may be too energetic for smaller dogs. Kobie is not yet lead trained, though I have been working on this with him. I also have a young Springer Spaniel in training, and both dogs have become quite attached to me, leading to some jealousy. My partner is unable to assist with their training due to lack of experience. While Kobie does not initiate conflict, I am concerned my Springer might, and I want to prevent any issues. For this reason, I believe it’s best to find Kobie a home where he will get the attention, training, and companionship he needs. Kobie knows several commands, including “inside” (where he goes between your legs), sit, and paw. I am currently teaching him to wait calmly while his food is prepared. He is not aggressive or possessive about food—you can remove and return his food without any problem. Kobie is fully house trained and signals when he needs to go outside. He almost never jumps up; since I’ve had him, he’s only done so twice, both when he was very excited. Kobie is truly a fantastic dog, and I am hoping to find a wonderful home where he can be happy and flourish.
