Description

Buddy is a Shepherd X Collie X Norwegian Elkhound mix who needs a new home with plenty of individual attention and space to play. He was recently neutered, so his size should remain about the same. Buddy is energetic, affectionate, and always eager for attention. He’s highly intelligent, as typical for these breeds, and is very food motivated. Buddy has had some agility training and has excellent recall. He responds well to standard commands and knows a few extras. Overall, he is well-trained, active, and accustomed to being around middle-aged children. He doesn’t have much experience with other dogs but has never shown aggression—he tends to get excited and is still learning appropriate social behavior. Buddy would do best in a home with enclosed outdoor space and with people who have patience, as he is still young and learning. It’s heartbreaking to rehome him, but due to unforeseen health reasons, we have no other option. Serious inquiries only, please. His adoption fee reflects the situation, and he will come with his collar, lead, bed, towels, microchip information, and agility kit if desired.
