Female mixed breed dog for adoption in Southport

Storm is being rehomed due to circumstances beyond her control. She responds well to commands like sit, stay, roll over, paw, speak, and wait, but she does not have recall and will run off if given the opportunity. Storm does not get along with our youngest child, who is 3 years old and disabled, but she is excellent with our older children, ages 8 and 9, so she would be best suited for a home with older kids. She enjoys long walks and is fully toilet trained. Storm is up to date with vaccinations, microchipped, and regularly treated for fleas and worms. She is affectionate but can be competitive for attention. Storm has not lived with other dogs or pets, so her behavior around them is unknown. She tends to pull strongly on the lead despite various efforts to address it. Storm would make a wonderful companion for someone who is the right fit. The price is set to help ensure she goes to a good home, but it is open to negotiation.
