Lily is a affectionate dog who would do best in a calm, quiet home. She’s energetic, which makes our youngest child uneasy. The busy atmosphere at home makes it hard for Lily to relax. She tends to be nervous and will bark at unfamiliar noises or visitors, but settles well in a peaceful environment. On walks, Lily does pull a bit, so she needs someone patient and strong. Her recall is limited but she is fully house-trained and behaves well indoors, especially if given a durable toy like a kong to keep her occupied. Lily currently lives with another dog, but it’s recommended she be the only dog in the house since her high energy can bother other pets. She is neutered and would make a wonderful companion for someone with a quiet home and few visitors, and who can provide daily walks to help her burn off energy. When she has company, she’s generally quiet unless there’s a new or unfamiliar sound. Lily can be left alone for several hours and has never shown any separation anxiety.
