Description

NEW PHOTOS! The Koi & Golden Marble angelfish is a sought-after aquarium species native to the Amazon regions of Peru and Ecuador. Like all angelfish, these are peaceful, attractive fish with a lifespan that can reach 10-15 years. The Koi angelfish is recognized for its striking mix of black, white, yellow, and orange colors, with a slim body growing up to about 15-20 cm long. The Golden Marble variety features a tall, slender shape with distinctive gold and marble markings. Habitat Ideal water temperature is 76-86°F, with a pH range of 6.5-7.4. Moderate water flow and medium-grade, smooth gravel are recommended. A single Koi angelfish needs at least a 30-gallon tank, with larger tanks required for multiple fish. Water Quality Guidelines: Optimal Range Temperature: 24-27°C pH: 6.5-7.4 Ammonia: 0 ppm Caution Zone Temperature: 22-24°C or 27-29°C pH: 6.0-6.5 or 7.5-8.0 Ammonia: 0.25-0.5 ppm Danger Zone Temperature: 22°C or 29°C pH: 6.0 or 8.0 Ammonia: 0.5 ppm Feeding is straightforward, as Angelfish are not picky eaters. They thrive on a varied diet that includes high-quality dry, frozen, and live foods, which helps maintain their health and vibrant colors. IMPORTANT! When adding Koi & Golden Marble Angelfish to a new aquarium, it's crucial to acclimate them gradually to reduce stress. Start by floating the sealed bag with the fish in the tank for around 30-40 minutes to adjust the temperature. Prices vary by fish size: small 3cm / 5 for £20 approx 5cm / £6 each or 3 for £15 approx 8cm / £8 each or 3 for £20 approx 10-12cm /£10 each Collection available in Warrington.
