Boa Snake
Plymouth
Description

Carpet python and two boas available Looking for experienced keepers to provide lifelong homes for these snakes. Each will come with their enclosure and all necessary equipment. Scar is a female normal boa constrictor housed in a 6x2x2 vivarium. She was previously in a larger enclosure, which made her defensive and caused her to stop eating, but she is now back to her usual self after moving to a smaller space. She may hiss at first but settles down once handled. She is around 7–8ft long, about 3–4 years old, and feeds on a jumbo rat every 3–4 weeks. £150 for her and her enclosure. Fred is a normal boa constrictor with a calm nature, roughly 8–9 years old. He came to us because his former owners could no longer care for him. Fred is kept in an 8x2x2 vivarium, likes to soak and explore, is about 7ft long, and eats jumbo rats every 3–4 weeks. £150 for him and his setup. Chase is a jungle carpet python, about 4–5 years old, currently in a 5x2x2 enclosure. He would do well in a larger, more spacious vivarium as he is very active and enjoys climbing. He needs slow hand movements but has never been aggressive. £90 for him and his enclosure. These snakes require keepers with experience and will only go to suitable homes. Viewing and handling before adoption is encouraged. Occasional updates after they are settled in their new homes would be appreciated.
