Our puppies stay until 12 weeks by choice, as we found that at 8 weeks they were too small and not emotionally prepared. Extending their time with us allows them to develop confidence, adjust to new environments, and sleep through the night in their crate, making the transition easier for new owners and helping you avoid the most challenging early stage. Leaving at 12 weeks: Confident, settled, fully vaccinated, crate trained, and easier for new owners.
